God

He is holy, holy, holy. Nothing can dwell in His presence that is not itself completely holy; to do otherwise is to violate His standard - revealed in His law - and this would make Him unjust.

Isaiah 6 & 40; Ezekiel 1; Revelation 1 & 20-22; Exodus 20; 1Peter 1:17; 1Corinthians 10:31;
Matthew 22:37-40; Romans 3:26

Man

Mankind is fallen and can never attain to the standard that God has set. God does not grade on a curve but uses Himself as the standard and as such man is hopeless before the righteous judgment of God - all are condemned.

Genesis 3; Exodus 20; Romans 3 & 5:1-12; Matthew 5-7; Ephesians 2:1-3; Leviticus 11:44, 19:2, 20:7

Christ

Mankind is hopeless before the perfect standard of God. Thus God must intervene on behalf of humanity if any are to be delivered from judgment. He is the only way God has provided and the means by which God can be both just and justifier.
Isaiah 53, Ephesians 2:4-7; Romans 3:23-26, 5:8; 1Peter 2:24, 1Corinthians 15:1-4; 2Corinthians 5:21; John 1:1; John 14:6; Hebrews 1

Response

Mankind must turn from sin to Christ - God's answer to the delima of man - for forgiveness, by faith alone. Repentance and Faith in Christ; that's the only way.
Romans 6:21-23, 10:9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Acts 26:20; Galatians 2:20

the Gospel

Give the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ with clarity and truth.
Don't be intimidated or afraid. Use these 4 simple words to keep you on course:
God, Man, Christ, Response.

It is your duty as a steward of what God has given you to be faithful. It is not for us take credit for the results - be they good or bad. It is left for us, to simply proclaim the truth, as the prophets of old and let God do exactly what He will with His word just as Isaiah records in chapter 55 verse 11 of his book.

We understand that many times it is not always for the result of salvation that His word goes forth but rather it is always about His glorification. In fact it is the case for many that the goal of the proclamation God's word was to turn people away (as evidenced in by Jesus in teaching with parables and the hardening of Pharaoh's heart and in Isaiah 6:9-11) and to seal them up for judgment.

The message is not mine to alter - the one issuing the call sets the terms. It is mine to find that I can glorify God by teaching His Gospel, though they can never see it nor would the world ever embrace it, for it is foolishness to them or a stumbling block. God has so worked it that the wise will be confounded by the simple and that the strong should be made frail by the weak and that the things that are not, like me, might be the undoing of the things that are. We ought to aspire to know nothing among the people of this crooked and depraved generation except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

It is ours to find the will of the LORD to be our joy.

God now Governs

Don't think of Salvation so much as a prayer or aisle walking experience but rather consider it as a change of allegiance.
God now governs.

(Romans 6 makes this all rather plain)

nothing but Gospel

"People think they’re preaching the Gospel to you when they tell you,
‘you can have a purpose to your life’ or that ‘you can have meaning to your life’ or that ‘you can have a personal relationship with Jesus'.
All of those things are true and they’re all important but they don’t get to the heart of the Gospel."
~ R.C. Sproul

the Gospel and works

The only way anyone can ever be saved is by works!

"God requires that His law be fulfilled. And unless you possess perfect righteousness, you will never be justified.
Now the issue is this: By whose works will you be justified? Justification by faith alone means that we’re justified by the works of Christ alone."
~ R.C. Sproul
